I/ITSEC 2025 Recap: New Connections, Bold Plans for 2026

I/ITSEC 2025 was another big milestone for Simtek Inc. and our mission to deliver high-fidelity simulated avionics with zero compromise.

Throughout the week, our booth stayed busy with program managers, integrators, OEMs, and training organizations who are looking for reliable, realistic hardware to power their next generation of simulators.

This year was all about connections and collaboration. We met a lot of new faces—teams exploring fresh training concepts, emerging platforms, and upgrade paths for legacy aircraft. At the same time, we had strong conversations with many of our current partners about expanding our support on new builds, refresh programs, and long-term sustainment strategies.

Across fast jets, rotary-wing, airlift, and commercial platforms, one theme kept coming up: programs need trusted, high-fidelity control panels, displays, and instruments that look, feel, and operate like the real cockpit. Those discussions reinforced what we’ve always believed—Simtek’s combination of engineering depth, flexibility, and small-business responsiveness is exactly what the industry needs.

Looking ahead to 2026, we’re excited to turn these I/ITSEC conversations into action. We look forward to collaborating with both current and new partners on new and existing simulated avionics programs—whether that means designing from scratch, upgrading legacy systems, or scaling proven hardware across multiple devices and platforms.

To everyone who stopped by the Simtek booth at I/ITSEC 2025: thank you. Your interest, feedback, and ideas help us keep pushing the boundaries of what simulated avionics can be. We’re ready to get to work and help make your 2026 simulator projects a reality.
