2026 Flight Simulator Engineering and Maintenance Conference (FSEMC)

Simtek is excited to announce that our team will be attending the 2026 Flight Simulator Engineering and Maintenance Conference (FSEMC), taking place October 5–8, 2026, in Frankfurt, Germany.

FSEMC is one of the flight simulation industry's key technical gatherings, bringing together simulator operators, airlines, training organizations, airframe manufacturers, training-device manufacturers, equipment suppliers, engineers, and maintenance professionals from around the world.

The purpose of FSEMC goes well beyond showcasing new technology. The conference is centered on solving real-world simulator engineering and maintenance challenges, improving simulator reliability and readiness, reducing operating and lifecycle costs, and sharing technical information across the industry. FSEMC also supports the development of technical standards and best practices related to simulation and training.

Simtek’s Role in Simulator Readiness

Those objectives closely align with what Simtek does every day.

For nearly five decades, Simtek has designed and manufactured simulated avionics and cockpit hardware specifically for flight training devices and full-flight simulators.

As simulators remain in service for many years, operators face challenges that extend far beyond the original installation. Components become obsolete. Electronics change. Aircraft configurations evolve. Hardware wears. Replacement parts become difficult to source. At the same time, simulator availability and training schedules cannot stop.

That is where Simtek contributes.

We work with simulator manufacturers, training organizations, and operators to provide hardware solutions focused on:

  • High-fidelity simulated avionics and cockpit controls

  • Long-term product support

  • Obsolescence management

  • Replacement and redesigned simulator hardware

  • Repair and refurbishment

  • Configuration management

  • Maintainability and reliability

  • Scalable hardware supporting FTD through Level D applications

Our experience allows us to support both new simulator programs and legacy training devices already operating in the field.

Solving the Problems Behind Simulator Readiness

A major focus of FSEMC is the open exchange of engineering and maintenance information. Operators are able to raise real simulator problems, while suppliers and industry specialists contribute experience and potential solutions.

That collaborative approach is one of the reasons Simtek values FSEMC.

Whether the challenge involves an obsolete display, an aging cockpit control, a difficult-to-support avionics assembly, or the need to replace original aircraft hardware with a purpose-built simulation solution, these are exactly the types of engineering challenges our team works to solve.

Our goal is to help customers maintain the form, fit, feel, and functionality required for high-quality training while improving long-term supportability and simulator availability.

Connecting With the Flight Simulation Community

FSEMC provides an opportunity to meet directly with the engineers, technicians, operators, manufacturers, and suppliers responsible for keeping the world's training devices operational.

We look forward to discussing current programs, upcoming simulator requirements, legacy hardware challenges, refurbishment opportunities, obsolescence concer

ns, and the future of flight simulation technology.
